Assa (Асса) is a Soviet film directed by Sergei Solovyov and released in 1987. It became a cult film,[1] mostly thanks to the fact that it was one of the films that brought Russian rock music from the underground into the mainstream.

Three genders in Russian music: Masculine, the winners
As you may know there are 3 genders in Russian language: masculine, feminine and neuter. So they are in Russian music. (Makes you wonder about neuter gender, right ;) ?)
Today is the first gender - Masculine. Sorry, ladies, Russian grammar is not politically correct. There are not that many pretenders for this position, some tried and failed - we list them in our next post.
